Emerald Cruises has announced the launch of two new superyachts, Emerald Raiya and Emerald Xara, set to debut in 2027. This follows the introduction of Emerald Kaia in 2026, marking a significant expansion into luxury boutique cruising.
Each superyacht will accommodate 128 guests in all-suite accommodations and feature a Sky Deck with private cabanas, panoramic views, and a swim-up marina platform.
Emerald Raiya will begin its journey in the Seychelles during winter 2026/27, then explore the Eastern Mediterranean in summer 2027 before returning to the Seychelles for winter 2027/28. Emerald Xara will launch in the Mediterranean and transition to the Caribbean for winter 2027/28, joining Emerald Kaia in warmer waters.
According to Dominika Lange, general manager of sales & marketing EMEA, these new sailings expand the guest experience into more warm-weather seasons, enhancing the boutique superyacht portfolio. Guests originally booked on Emerald Kaia for the Seychelles will be contacted to transfer their sailing to Emerald Raiya, designed for an exceptional experience on one of France's most iconic waterways.
Additionally, Emerald Lumi will offer curated journeys from Paris through Normandy, featuring contemporary interiors, spacious suites, and onboard amenities. Passengers can enjoy round-trip voyages from Paris, with extended stays in ports like Honfleur and Rouen, complemented by French-inspired cuisine.
This ambitious expansion underscores Emerald Cruises' commitment to redefining luxury water travel with innovative designs and immersive experiences.
